Hydraulic hose has a finite service life, which can be reduced by many factors including: frequency and amplitude of pressure fluctuations, exposing the hose to pressure spikes above the maximum recommended working pressure, operation outside of the recommended temperature range, flexing the hose to less than the minimum specified bend radius and twisting, pulling, kinking, crushing or abrasion of the hose.
